Help and limits

Get from microphone to usable text.

A short guide to permissions, live recognition, the prepared demo, and exporting a transcript.

Microphone

Permission is requested only when you start a live session.

Export

Copy the transcript or download a clean TXT file.

Privacy

Read how audio, transcript text, and logs are handled.

How do I allow microphone access?+

Choose Start recording in the workspace, then approve the browser permission. If you previously blocked it, open your browser site settings and enable the microphone for this site.

Why do I not see words while speaking?+

Live recognition depends on browser and device support. Check that the microphone is connected, the tab has permission, and you are using a browser with Speech Recognition support. The prepared demo works without microphone access.

How do I pause or finish a session?+

Use Pause to stop listening temporarily, Resume to continue, or Finish to keep the transcript ready for review.

How do I export a transcript?+

After a session has text, choose Copy transcript or Download TXT in the workspace controls.

Does the demo use a real recording?+

No. The demo uses prepared transcript lines so you can inspect speaker turns and mixed-language formatting without granting microphone access.

Can I use a transcript as an official record?+

Review important output carefully. Overlapping speech, background noise, accents, names, and domain terminology can affect recognition.
